Under Armour to release poverty help campaign “Under our Armour” set to start August 20
Baltimore, Maryland. - Under Armour has become concerned with something that has plagued a lot of the United States, poverty. This August 20th, Under Armour, with the help of Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat NBA team, is launching a campaign named “Under Our Armour”. The goal is to help struggling Americans in poverty. Under Armour’s goal is to help raise money and get volunteers for events that are going to help rebuild parts of poverty struck communities. The additional goal of the campaign is to help people understand how serious poverty is. As well as help spread awareness about it so people can learn to help others instead of discouraging them in a time of need.
The first part of the campaign is to raise money for three different projects for Denver, Colorado, and Orlando, Florida. There will be a GoFundMe page to help gain money that will be posted on the social medias of Jimmy Butler and Under Armour. There will be links for the GoFundMe account that can be shared through all contacts and followers of both Under Armour and Jimmy Butler. Both Jimmy Butler and Under Armour have agreed that for every $10 raised, each of them will match an additional $10 towards the campaign. Jimmy Butler says, “Poverty is something that weighs deeply on my heart, and I wish to help with this troubling problem in the world. I was without a home when I was a young adult. I knew what it felt like to have to fight and struggle. To have someone help you wasn’t something that happened every day. I want to be that light for others that I rarely ever saw.” These were some big reasons why Under Armour and Jimmy were willing to match the money to help this project along even more.
The second part of the campaign was getting volunteers to help pick up trash and put in new park equipment in communities around Denver and Miami. Prior to that though Under Armour and Jimmy Butler will do an interview on the podcast “All Power to the Developing” about the volunteering and donating for the events. There are multiple signups online on Under Amour’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram profiles. One for Miami on December 3-5 and Denver’s event is January 5-7. Jimmy Butler and several Under Armour employees will be leading the events.

My name is Nathaniel Rudolph, and I am part of an upcoming campaign that Under Armour is going to run called Under Our Armour. The campaign is to help poverty struck areas in Denver, Colorado and Miami, Florida. I understand that you are a part of the Global Citizen whose goals align with that of our campaign. We have a plan to have Jimmy Butler (NBA player for the Miami Heat) as our spokesperson for the campaign. Jimmy has understood the trials of poverty having grown up with that as a problem in his life. The first step that Under Armour and Jimmy Butler will both take is starting a GoFundMe fundraiser to help raise money online. That money will be used for the cleanup and new equipment being put in for local parks in Miami and Denver. Both Jimmy Butler and Under Armour have agreed to both match an additional ten dollars raised during the GoFundME fundraiser. Under Armour and Jimmy need your help to get the message out about this.

The point of this project was to find more about what I wanted my personal brand to be. I learned a lot more about making my personal brand and how important staying constant with font and colors. I also learned how important it was to stay consistent with all those.
